Speech-Language Pathologist

Taylor Wright


Taylor Wright is a licensed speech-language pathologist, earning her Master of Science degree in Communication Disorders from the University of Texas at Dallas. Taylor brings over 14 years of experience treating pediatric speech, language, and social communication disorders in diverse settings including school, private clinic, home health, and teletherapy. Taylor holds a license as a speech-language pathologist in the state of Texas and California, and carries the ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence.

Taylor is committed to continuous growth as a clinician and was recognized as an ASHA ACE Achiever. She has attended the DTTC Advanced Workshop led by Edythe Strand and is also trained in ReST, Speech Motor Chaining, Speech Intelligibility Training, and PROMPT. In addition to expertise in the treatment of motor speech disorders, Taylor is passionate about supporting unique language learning needs using a neurodiversity affirming approach. She has completed the Meaningful Speech and Natural Language Acquisition courses to become an NLA-trained clinician, and has training in the SCERTS model for children with autism, DIR Floortime, and Language Acquisition through Motor Planning. She is also proficient in literacy instruction and the implementation of high- and low-tech AAC systems, including LAMP Words for Life.

Taylor’s highest priority is treating each child with respect and dignity, while empowering them to reach meaningful goals. She looks forward to partnering with families and caregivers to create the best possible communication outcome for each child.
